My name is Alejandra Ramirez, I am from a small city in Veracruz, Mexico called Coatepec (The Hill where the Snakes are, in nahuatl), famous not only for its historic monuments, but also for its aromatic and delicious coffe.
I studied Mathematics at the Universidad Veracruzana, in Xalapa, Veracruz (Mexico). After finishing my B.Sc, I decided to continue my education, like I had heard many good things about the Cinvestav, in Mexico City, I decided to come here for studying my M.Sc., at the Physics Department.
Another interest beside of physics and mathematics is the administration of a network. I am a linux user (in fact, I am the 157,234 linux registered user 
) and in the past years I have been learning how to set up several kinds of servers under linux (file server, email server, web server, etc). Like I was some time without scholarship, I have had the opportunity to practice this abilities in order to obtain money
Presently, I am a Ph.D student at the Physics Department in Cinvestav, my advisor is the Dr. Bogdan Mielnik and the main subject of my interest is the Mathematical Physics.
